Mantis

This feature allows you to link Mantis issues to your test scenarios directly in BluInsights in order to quickly jump to your Mantis project, see important issue information (id, status, assignee...) at glance.

Setup your Mantis

  1. Generate a Mantis API Token (See this link for a step by step tutorial).

  2. Authorize your Mantis API to be executed:

    • Go to Mantis installation home
    • Edit the file .htaccess (usually available at {MANTIS_HOME}\mantis\apps\mantis\htdocs\api\rest.htaccess)
    • Change the last line in order to obtain: RewriteRule ^ /api/rest/index.php [QSA,L]
  3. Apache configuration (if Mantis is installed with Apache):

    • Make sure that the "mod_rewrite" is activated. To do so, go to "conf/httpd.conf" and make sure the line "LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so" is not commented.
    • Check that the "AllowOverride all" option is in the related VirtualHost directory. For example :
  <VirtualHost _default_:443>
      <Directory "D:/Apache2/www/mantisbt-2.18.0">
          Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
          AllowOverride all
          Order allow,deny
          allow from all
      </Directory>
  </VirtualHost>

Add your Mantis booster

In the boosters page, you can link your BluInsights projects to Mantis servers.

In order to do so, you need to fill in a form giving mainly the URL of the Mantis as well as the generated token (see above).

You should test the connection between Mantis and BluInsights and make sure it is working otherwise you cannot save your booster.

The information related to the issues linked to a specific Test Scenario can be seen in the Issues column in Test Scenarios and in the Selection Properties.
